Snowed in.....

The total is 13 inches with lots of drifts much deeper than that.  Here are a few pics of the pretty stuff (I think it is very pretty when I am inside!).  

 That is the mailbox, granted after our street was plowed....

Looking out the front door, nice big drift on the porch (which is covered).....

and the swingset, with the slide half under snow and the first two swings under snow.....

Little J loves to sit on the fireplace hearth and now that it is accessible (Christmas decorations down), she climbs up there.  Big J used to love to get up there too, must seem like an adventure.  Little J took a spill though and was too close and hit the ledge on her fall down.  She wasn't too happy about it but she recovered quickly and can claim to be the first in the family to get a black eye!

And, as of yesterday, still up on the hearth and the eye is almost all better!
