hmmmm, yes, also just a little bit good amount of sass! Don't know where she gets it, must be her dad! HA!
She went to her first theater production, Peter Pan, in December with my mom and me. She LOVED it and was so thrilled to get her picture taken with Peter Pan, who also graciously gave her a bag of "pixie dust".
Big J decided last fall that she wanted to grow her hair because, even at 4 years old, she knows from her friends at daycare that girls are "supposed" to have long hair. So she did let it grow but she has the thickest hair around. The first time she complained when I was drying it, I told her none of that or we would get it cut short again. She said "ok" and didn't complain for quite a while, but as it has gotten even longer, we got more whining. So we talked about the options again and she said she wanted it back short. When we got to her "beautician" then she said she didn't want it short short so we did a compromise. Here are the before and after shots! (Heather - wonder cutter - told her to look real unhappy and then for the after she has to do a big smile!). Before:
More before pics without the staged face:
And after:
She's starting to think she is a photographer so she took pics of my hair too:
So what do you think (and leave my double chin out of it!)?? She also is liking practicing zooming in with the camera and hey, this is actually pretty good:
Tomorrow will be one year from when we left to go bring Little J home! I'm stealing the idea from a friend who traveled the month before us - she is documenting their trip and it has been fun to read. I've not really documented our trip which I have meant to do so even if no one is reading or interested, we'll have the story!
